  • I coach children and teens of all ages, from beginners to advanced players. Whether your child plays for fun and personal development, plays competitively, or is aiming for club or academy trials, I tailor each session to their individual level and goals.

  • I coach at local pitches and open green spaces around Christchurch, depending on pitch availability.

You can check the Booking Page for the current training locations and available time slots.

  • My coaching is designed to supplement club training. I provide extra, personalised one‑on‑one or small group coaching (2-3 players), focused on individual skill development and technical improvement that players may not get in larger club sessions.

  • Yes - many of the players I coach already play for local clubs or school teams. My sessions are designed to complement team training by focusing on the individual: improving technique, confidence, game understanding, and specific areas your child wants to develop.

  • Yes - many of the players I coach are teenagers. I focus on advanced technical skills, positional awareness, and tactical understanding, helping teens improve their club performance or prepare for trials and representative football.

  • Yes - I regularly coach players aged 9 - 12. For this age group, I focus on ball control, dribbling, passing technique, spatial awareness, and introducing game intelligence in a fun but challenging environment.

  • Yes - I hold both the UEFA C Licence and the OFC/NZF B Licence, and I have years of experience coaching youth players in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand.

  • Yes - I run early morning sessions before school, usually starting around 6:30 - 7:00am. It’s a great option for kids who want to train regularly without clashing with school or club commitments.

  • Players should wear comfortable sportswear - ideally football shorts and a top or other training gear - along with football boots. In cooler weather, a jacket or hoodie is a good idea. Don’t forget a full water bottle to stay hydrated during the session.

  • Each session is structured around the player’s needs, but usually includes a technical warm-up, individual skill drills, and game-relevant practice (like passing under pressure, ball control, finishing, and decision-making).

  • Yes - I offer sessions year-round, including during school holidays.

You can check my Booking Page for available dates and times.

  • That depends on your child’s goals. Some players train with me weekly during the season, while others book a block of sessions to focus on a particular skill or prepare for trials. I’m happy to recommend a plan after an initial session.
